Customer states:
 MIL on.
Workshop findings:
 In the battery regulation control module, J840 (address word 008C) or in the high-voltage battery charger
control module, J1050 (address word 00C6) a DTC is logged for the HV battery.
 GFF is performed and indicates to replace the HV battery.

Service
1. Review and follow the instructions in the attached document to ensure correct documentation is performed
for any battery repairs.
2. Perform classification test plan to determine the state of the battery, for shipping process (critical or noncritical).
3. For the defective HV battery: write the VIN close to the battery label (Figure 1). Then take a picture and
upload it to TAC.

4. Contact TAC with the requested documentation uploaded.
5. Follow the instructions and complete the attached document after TAC provides directions for the battery
repair.
