FORWARD COLLISION WARNING (FCW) INDICATOR
SHOWN ON CLUSTER WITHOUT DTC(s)
On some 2016MY Soul (PS) vehicles, you may see a
Forward Collision Warning (FCW) indicator may appear on
the instrument cluster with no DTC’s present. This condition
may be caused by incorrect/lost variant coding of the Lane
Departure Warning System (LDWS) camera, or when
replacing with a new camera. Follow the procedure outlined
below to resolve the concern
Service Procedure:
1. Use KDS/GDS to access the LDWS
Camera Variant Coding screen.
2. Enter the values shown below to correctly
code the camera.
