CAUSE: Windshield finisher retaining channel not retaining the windshield finisher correctly. ACTION: Follow the instructions below. WARRANTY: NOTES: Repair procedures are under constant review, and therefore times are subject to change; those quoted here must be taken as guidance only. Use TOPIx to obtain the latest repair time. The JLR claims submission system requires the use of causal part numbers. Labor only claims must show the causal part number with a quantity of zero. SERVICE INSTRUCTION: 1. CAUTIONS: Make sure to not lever against the windshield during this operation to prevent damage to the glass. Make sure to not damage the vehicle paintwork. Close the windshield finisher channel to an internal dimension of 1.5 mm. 1. Use a feeler gauge to measure the internal dimension. 5. Install the windshield finisher. 6.
