A customer may report that the rear tailgate is not opening from one of the
different switch sources or the tailgate releases but, does not fully open, it just
opens slightly.
Technical Description:

The tailgate may not release or release but, not fully power open when release is
requested whether from the interior, exterior switches, key fob or gesture input.

Engineering is investigating reports of rear tailgate operational concerns.
To support this investigation, should a customer report a concern regarding rear
tailgate operation please follow Guided Diagnostics. If the cause is determined
and vehicle able to be repaired, please submit an EPQR with details of the
operational concern. If tailgate alignment is found to be the cause, please include
pictures of the alignment before correction.
If support is required to diagnose the concern, please submit a TA case.
