Yellow warning light/message within the DIP (Adaptive Lighting Fault)
NOTE: Some lighting functionalities can in some cases be lost for example:
•
Rear fog light activation
•
All weather lighting mode activation
•
Headlamps default to dipped beam however high beam will still activate manually
NOTE: Recycling the ignition will not resolve the problem
Technical background
The issue will not occur when the ignition is on and/or the vehicle is being driven. It occurs as the headlamp switch goes into a “sleep” state after
ignition is Switched OFF, the issue is then evident to the driver when the ignition is next switched ON
Production change
Headlamp switch (3SA 941 531A) will be introduced within the first quarter of 2021
