 The engine idles and will have erratic surges when stationary.
Workshop findings:
 The DTC is set at an engine speed below 1500 rpm.
The following DTC is stored in the engine control module (ECM), J623 (address word 0001):
 DTC P001100 (Bank 1, required camshaft delay adjustment not reached (inlet)) with symptom code 14870.
And/Or
 DTC P030100 (Cylinder 1 misfire detected).
 DTC P030200 (Cylinder 2 misfire detected).
 DTC P030300 (Cylinder 3 misfire detected).
 DTC P030400 (Cylinder 4 misfire detected).

Proceed with Field Campaign 96H5 to improve the vehicle misfire DTC’s, idle quality and drivability concerns.
Note:
Do not replace any components to correct misfire DTC’s, idle quality, and drivability concerns.
A6 2.0 TFSI:
Perform ECM software update using SVM code in table below.

1. Follow all instructions in TSB 2011732: 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.
2. Update the ECM, J623 (address word 0001) using the SVM action code as listed in the table below, if
necessary:
