Customer states:
 The coolant warning lamp appears in the instrument cluster.
Workshop findings:
 When checking the coolant level visually on the coolant expansion tank the level is between minimum and
maximum as it should be.
Technical Background
Due to the large coolant circuit capacity, there is significant fluctuation in the coolant level when the coolant cools
down and heats up. If the coolant circuit is incorrectly filled or bled, this can lead to sporadic illumination of the low
coolant level warning lamp.

When processing this concern, follow the points below:
 The coolant level in the coolant expansion tank must be adjusted/checked in cold conditions according to the
Elsa repair manual.

 The connector (including pins and connector contacts) should be checked carefully.
 The contact surfaces of the pins and connector contacts must be free of impurities and damage.
 After disconnecting and reconnecting the connector, perform a key cycle and check if the concern returns
again. If it does then continue with normal diagnosis outside of this TSB.
