Re: Allocation for Seat Belt Recall
Reference Bulletin: QB R10029
Part # 32341045 (End Fitting) – 2 units per vehicle
Part # 32328849 (Block) – 1 unit per vehicle *ONLY S/V60*
As a follow up to ongoing efforts to obtain & distribute parts needed for this recall, Volvo has accepted
select orders through our Parts Support team for the past several months, and shipped well over one hundred thousand units of the impacted part numbers.
During the upcoming week, Volvo PS&L (Parts Supply & Logistics) will conduct a push allocation to the
market based on the location of impacted vehicle populations. This methodology allows Volvo to keep
control of the limited quantities received on these part numbers, but also puts a considerable number of
these units on Retailer shelves.
Volvo will be pushing orders to Retailers starting Tuesday, March 2, 2021. The orders being pushed to
the market will be staggered over a 3 day period (through Thursday, March 4, 2021). Exact distribution
quantities will be shared with your Volvo field representatives over the coming days.
In order to prepare for and execute this allocation, no orders will be accepted by Parts Support for these
parts beginning today (2/26/21) through the end of next week (3/5/21).
Produced and printed in the USA and available as an electronic document.

Quantities are limited, and levels of domestic DC inventory are not expected to rise quickly after this push
is complete. PS&L will determine if an additional round of allocations is appropriate if/when the stock
situation improves. This may take a considerable amount of time, and no estimate can be provided as of
this writing.
Volvo PS&L will continue monitoring the remaining inventory and will maintain the order block on these
part numbers, as inventory will be in a critical shortage situation for some weeks/months after this allocation is completed.
PS&L also reserves the right to limit any ordering at any time to ensure the opportunity to stabilize stock
levels in the DC network.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation in this matter.
