Complaint
After ignition ON, the following message is shown on the instrument cluster:
- "Unavailable! - ESP - Service Required"
In addition,
- an engine start may not be possible and the low beams may be permanently ON
- the ESP control unit (N30-4) may not appear in the quick test.
Note:
If the ESP control unit (N30-4) appears in the quick test, one of the following codes (DTC) may be logged:
- P0606E9
- P0607EC
- P060647
Cause
ESP control unit software.
Remedy
The ESP control unit should not be replaced.
Update ESP software.
Note:
All available add-ons should be installed.
