SERVICE INFORMATION
When replacing both of the vehicle’s I-Keys, due to being lost prior to vehicle delivery, new
I-Keys can now be registered without the BCM (or ECM) being replaced.
Do not replace the BCM (or ECM) before replacing I-Keys for the Applied
Vehicles.
To register keys:
1.
Push the Extended Storage Switch (ESS) in.
2.
Press the push start button to wake up BCM.
3.
Turn ON the hazard to keep BCM in wake up mode.
4.
Plug in CONSULT-III plus (C-III plus).
5.
Register Intelligent-Keys using C-III plus.
IMPORTANT: For those vehicles that are being retained in inventory after the keys are
replaced, pull out the ESS to return the vehicle to Extended Storage Mode.
