Slack Guide Bolt (13094-EN200) Shortage
Nissan recently learned that a bolt that is removed (and reused) in the campaign procedure
can be stripped if using a power tool, rendering it unusable. This has created a flow of
dealer orders and a backorder situation for part 13094-EN200. Nissan is looking into the
most expedient plan to supply all backorder parts.
Updated Bulletin- An amended bulletin will be sent as soon as possible with
instructions on removing the slack guide bolt.

Claim Information- This part has been added to the warranty registration so dealers
can submit warranty claim for the part in the event there is replacement needed.
Chain Tensioner Assembly (13070-EN20A)
As mentioned in a previous campaign update (attached), automated part shipments have
included optional parts that were not listed in the Campaign Bulletin. In some cases, if the
piston is ejected from the body housing upon disassembly, the chain tensioner will need to
be replaced. Note: The campaign does not require tensioner replacement if
functioning properly.
Dealerships should submit the tensioner, slack guide bolt, or other optional parts in the
same work order line number as the campaign repair. Failure to submit these parts in the
same work order line number will result in an increased warranty payment for the added flat
rate time. Labor for the replacement of these optional parts is included in the campaign
repair labor time. Claims submitted inaccurately will be monitored and charged back
to the dealership accordingly.
