Subject: Campaign Update - WIN7 CONSULT III Operating System
Detailed Information:
P0303/P0332 2007-08 FX Speedometer reprogramming, HDD NAVI updates on
2007-12 models, and P2538 JX Meter Backlight and DTE reprogramming were
previously only available to CONSULT Laptops running the XP operating system.
Now, all campaign software and specialty tool software is available on Windows 7
CONSULT laptops. When the CONSULT laptop is synced with ASIST, it will
automatically detect the operating system and download the WIN7 drivers necessary
to perform campaigns. The user will be prompted to install the driver on the tool
after it is downloaded. The WIN 7 software is not the same as the XP operating
system software, but the current campaign bulletins still apply.
