Cause
Software data in the BMS - N82/2.
The fault may be set when the HV battery charging process is canceled or terminated because the data in the BMSN82/2 is sensitive.

Remedy
1) Establish bus idle:
•
•
•
Disconnect vehicle from charging equipment (EVSE).
Close all doors and flaps.
Lock vehicle and wait approx. 5 minutes (until LED on selector lever module goes out).
2) The vehicle can now be re-started (Example: to drive to the workshop)
•

NOTE: If only fault P0AB1562 occurs, no message(s) should be displayed in the instrument cluster.
If bus idle was not established, each time the vehicle is started, the yellow warning message is shown in the display; and the red warning and indicator lamp lights up permanently.
3) Erase fault memory.
4) Test and assess vehicle incl. HV battery charging process.
5) If the fault no longer occurs, the vehicle can be released.
NOTE: This fault profile is extremely rare. If it occurs on a vehicle multiple times at short intervals, create a PTSS case.
