ENGINE WARRANTY EXTENSION (TXXI)
Description: The warranty coverage for engine long block repair or replacement regarding engine
damage or malfunction from connecting rod bearing wear has been extended to a Limited Lifetime
Warranty and is valid for original and subsequent owners.
NOTICE
The warranty extension is limited to vehicles owned by individual consumers that have:
• Completed the Knock Sensor Detection System software update (Campaign 953) AND
• A check engine warning lamp illumination with DTC P1326 (Campaign T3G) OR
• An engine concern related to connecting rod bearing wear or damage.

inspection/replacement procedure.

Certain 2019 MY Santa Fe (TM) vehicles with 2.0L Turbo and 2.4L engines
