Bulletin No.: Service Bulletin Date: 22-NA-001 January, 2022 INFORMATION Subject: Diagnostic Aid: The HPCM2 Module Records Inaccurate Freeze Frame / Failure Record Data Brand: Model: Chevrolet Bolt EV Opel Ampera-e EV Model Year: VIN: from to from to 2017 2019 — — Engine: Transmission: — — Involved Region or Country North America, Europe, GM Korea Company Condition Technicians may find with any DTC set in the HPCM2 (Hybrid Powertrain Control Module), the associated Freeze Frame / Failure Records will contain inaccurate data only for the model years listed in this bulletin. Cause The causes of the condition may be a software anomaly in the most recent software version has resulted in freeze frame records in the HPCM2 to become corrupted for all DTCs. Information Do not use the Freeze Frame / Failure Records in GDS2 for a DTC set in the HPCM2 module when diagnosing a concern.
