Please find following information about Polestar battery claim type BEV8YPS.
The BEV8YPS claim type covers repair/replacement of the High Voltage battery or a component inside
the battery.
Fault-tracing are only claimable when related to a repair/replacement of the battery or a component
inside the battery.
All these costs must be claimed in one job against the vehicles specific battery claim type.
An exclusive Cause Code is created and must be used:
04 EXCHANGE/REPAIR OF HV BATTERY
The rest of the car is covered by ordinary base Warranty. These repairs must always be claimed in a
separate job and be settled on base Warranty.
