PCM programming issues in Jaguar diesel models

MIL on, DEF light on, having to program PCM or update PCM as stated on TOPIx.
Technicall Description:
We are currently aware of some issues when updating the PCM modules on 16/17MY
Jaguar diesel vehicles.
This has stemmed from validation of upcoming diesel EGR software.
Status:
This workaround will load a software file to the Jaguar Land Rover Approved
Diagnostic Equipment using the Manual Patch Update process. This manual patch
must only be implemented on a SDD 162 machine.
This Manual Patch will stay on the JLR Approved Diagnostic Equipment.
Recommend installing on all SDD 162 machines to prevent concern on any further
vehicles
