Issue:
Steering Column Rake / Reach Operation Innoperative.
Cause:
Currently unknown, under investigation.
Action:
To assist in resolving the concerns please supply an
ePQR answering the following :To help engineering please answer the following
questions;1. Has the Instrument Pack shown any other issues
previously?
1.1 Have all the dials / display been working correctly?
1.2 Has the centre display been working correctly?
1.3 Have any warnings (lights, error messages) been
displayed on the Instrument Pack?
Content 1.4 Has the rake and reach adjustment worked
previously?
2. Has a lack of Servotronic assistance been observed?
2.1 Has Servotronic assistance stopped completely?
2.2 Has the servotronic steering operated intermittently?
3. Has the car previously been had a scheduled service?
4. Is the steering column adjuster normally left in manual
or auto setting?
4.1 Did the error occur in manual or auto setting?
5. If any issue with the rake and reach has been
observed, do not perform IPC recalibration. Replace IPC
and advise Jaguar Cars via ePQR.
A Priority Part Return may be raised to return the replaced
part.
