APPLIED VEHICLES: 2017-2019 Armada (Y62) 2017-2021 NV1500/2500/3500 (F80) 2017-2019 Titan/Titan XD (A61) APPLIED DATES: Armada: Built on or before July 22, 2018 Titan/Titan XD: Built on or before September 12, 2018 APPLIED TRANSMISSIONS: 7 Speed Automatic IF YOU CONFIRM A vibration during light or moderate throttle input between 20 – 40 mph, OR RPM flare / slip feeling / vibration during or immediately after a 2 – 3 upshift or 3 – 4 upshift with light or moderate throttle input. ACTION Replace the Torque Converter. IMPORTANT: The purpose of ACTION (above) is to give you a quick idea of the work you will be performing. You MUST closely follow the entire SERVICE PROCEDURE as it contains information that is essential to successfully completing this repair. Bulletins are intended for use by qualified technicians, not 'do-it-yourselfers'. Qualified technicians are properly trained individuals who have the equipment, tools, safety instruction, and know-how to do a job properly and safely. NOTE: If you believe that a described condition may apply to a particular vehicle, DO NOT assume that it does. See your Nissan dealer to determine if this applies to your vehicle. 1/3 SERVICE PROCEDURE 1. Remove the transmission assembly from the vehicle. Refer to the ESM: TRANSMISSION & DRIVELINE > TRANSAXLE & TRANSMISSION > 7AT: RE7R01B > UNIT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY > Removal and Installation 2. Remove the Torque Converter from the transmission assembly. 3. Install a new Torque Converter from PARTS INFORMATION. IMPORTANT: o Be sure to install a new input shaft O-ring when replacing the Torque Converter. o After installing the Torque Converter into the transmission assembly, check dimension (A) before installing the transmission assembly in the vehicle. (A): Dimension between the end of the converter housing and the Torque Converter 24.0 mm (0.94 in.). Figure 1 4. Reinstall the transmission assembly into the vehicle. CLAIMS INFORMATION Submit a Primary Part (PP) type line claim using the following claims coding: DESCRIPTION PFP R&I Automatic Transmission Assembly Replace Torque Converter (1) (2) (1) OP CODE JA01AA JA041A SYM DIA FRT ZE 32 (2) Reference the electronic parts catalog and use the Torque Convertor (31100-*****) as the Primary Failed Part (PFP). Reference the current Nissan Warranty Flat Rate Manual and use the indicated Flat Rate Time (FRT).
