Customer states:
The exterior trim on a vehicle with black optic package is discolored. It appears to take on a red or
• purple hue and, in some cases, may take on a grey or metallic appearance.
Technical Background
The ultraviolet radiation resistance in the trim coating was found to be insufficient.
Production Solution
Improved trim coating is implemented into production.
