34-096 - 579 Radar Resistor 4/13/2023 Edit Clone 34-096 34-096 - 579 Radar Resistor Subject 34-096 - 579 Radar Harness Whats New Abstract Fix As Fail – All New Model 579 chassis with Bendix radar option may have a harness rub against the radiator that is causing possible damage. Condition The Bendix radar wiring harness needs to be wrapped and re-secured if it is rubbing against the radiator. Chassis Affected New Model 579 chassis manufactured with the Wabco or Bendix radar option manufactured through 03/20/2023. Action Fix-As-Fail If a customer comes into your dealership and demonstrates the condition above, wrap the specified wiring harness and re-secure per the procedure provided. Warranty Through Standard Warranty or any applicable active Extended Warranty, Peterbilt will pay for parts and labor: • 0.3 hours labor to wrap the specified wiring harness and re-secure per the provided procedure. Use Quick Claim code 34096A for claims under Standard Warranty 12 months / 100,000 miles. Use Quick Claim code 34096B for claims under Extended Warranty (any Warranty agreement beyond 12 months / 100,000 miles).
