A vehicle may be encountered with various complaints.
Condition
Cause
These may include, multiple IPC indicators illuminated, gauges dropping out, IPC
display dropping out, door locks cycling, headlamps inoperative, passive entry
inoperative, side blind zone inoperative and possibly other concerns.
Codes B280D, B3978, B3979, B3980, B3981, C0293, C0800, P057C, P0650, P2122,
P2127, P2128, U023A, U026A, U0078, U0100, U0101, U0121, U0131, U0140, U0146,
U0151, U0155, U0159, U0168, U0184, U0186, U0422, may be found or there may be
others.
Terminals at G401 loose or not attached or terminal at G405 loose.
Correction:
Inspect G401 which is located on the right side of the rear compartment.
Note: that G401 is located slightly below and forward of G405.
Ensure that there are two wires attached to G401 and that the nut is properly installed.
Inspect G405 to ensure that it is properly tightened.
Ensure the terminals are tight, there have been cases of a nut cross threaded on the stud so the nut is tight, but
the terminal is loose.
