When accelerating after a change of direction (forward or reverse) a one-time clicking or popping noise occurs in the front left or front right of the vehicle. Back to top Tech Tips 00-14-02 Adapting Injector Quantity adjustment correction values (IMA/IVA) Model(s) Year Eng.Code Trans.Code Common Rail models Passat, Golf, Jetta, Jetta SportWagen, Touareg Adapting 2009– 2014 TDI (2.0L, 3.0L) All When replacing or adapting fuel injectors, if there is no Guided Functions Test Plan, utilize the following: UDS vehicles: Go to Guided Functions / Adapting Injector Quantity Adjustment correct values (IMA-IVA). If Guided Functions test plan is not available: 1. From the control module list view right click on the ECM 2. Select control module OBD 3. Select clear all OBD DTC’s 4. Select Adaptation 5. Select all injector correction values that are needed to be adapted 6. Enter value found on the injector into the entry field 7. Select apply and values should be stored. For all non UDS vehicles, Go to Guided Functions / Adapting Injector Quantity Adjustment correct values (IMA-IVA). If Guided Functions test plan is not available: Go to Guided Functions / Adapting Injector Quantity Adjustment correct values (IMA-IVA). 1. From the control module list view right click on the ECM 2. Select control module OBD 3. Select clear all OBD DTC’s 4. Select Adaptation 5. Select channels 71 through 76 or only the injectors that are needed to be adapted 6. Enter value found on the injector into the entry field 7. Press enter, send test value then apply. 8. Reselect channel and value will now change Campaigns No new campaigns this week. Back to top Updates 20V3 Fuel Line (NVLW) NOTE: Perform this UPDATE on all applicable vehicles within NEW VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTY. It is MANDATORY to perform UPDATES on all applicable vehicles in dealer inventory PRIOR TO RETAIL SALE. Inform customers that this UPDATE will be available free of charge as long as their vehicle is within the Warranty parameters outlined in this UPDATE. NOTE: Required DMS Wording//Text: (line item, customer concern description on repair order): UPDATE 20V3 – Fuel Line (NVLW) Model(s) Year Golf, GTI 2015 Eng. Code Trans. Code All All VIN Range From VIN Range To All All This update has been proactively released to prevent an audible fuel line resonance generated from the normal operation of the fuel delivery system perceived as a rattling noise under certain operating conditions. This UPDATE is in effect until removed. Vehicle must meet all of the following criteria: Procedure is valid only for vehicles that show the 20V3 code in Elsa, Campaign/Action Information screen on the day of repair. If the vehicle is sold it must be within the NEW VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTY. Procedure must be performed within the allotted time frame stated in this UPDATE. Procedure must be performed on applicable vehicles in dealer inventory prior to sale.
