Yes - Carry out the remaining instructions from step 1 No - Conduct TPI 2054599/1) Referring to Rep.Gr 94 - Remove the applicable headlamp 2) Replace the headlamp control unit as follows: • Referring to Figure 1 - Using an external torx socket - Remove (x3) fixings (1.5) Nm and carefully extract the control unit (1) to gain access to the harness connector (2) Figure 1 INTERNAL • Referring to Figure 2 - Press the catch (1) in the direction of the arrow, at the same time rotate the harness plug retainer (2) outwards as shown to allow the harness plug to be disconnected Figure 2 • Referring to Figure 3 - Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure, pay attention to the seal (1) ensuring there is NO damage • Ensure the seal is seated correctly as shown Figure 3 • Referring to Figure 4 - Connect the harness connector (1) and fully close the retainer (2) when the correct retention of the harness connector is achieved, an audible click will be heard Figure 4 • Referring to Figure 5 - Insert the new control unit (1) into the headlamp assembly aperture (highlighted) Take care not to dislodge the control unit seal (2) Figure 5 • Referring to Figure 6 - Press the control unit into the headlamp assembly evenly, then insert the three fixings -arrows- Torque tighten to (1.5) Nm - Connect the headlamp assembly connector Figure 6 • Apply a yellow paint line as shown in Figure 7 Figure 7 3) Run the headlamp replace test with the diagnostic tester as detailed within the guided functions test INTERNAL • Check the operation of the headlamp • Does the headlamp operate to specification?
