Technical Service Bulletin
The software needs to be updated. The optimized software will correct the misfire and prevent the MIL from
illuminating.
Production Solution
New software in the control module, -J623- (address word 0001) addressed the condition.
Service
This TSB replaces Pending Service Solution (PSS) TSB 2054182: PSS 01 3.0 TFSI Bank 2 engine misfires –
Q8/Q7 (DCBD engine).
SVM Update Instructions
1. Follow all instructions in TSB 2011732: 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.
2. Update the ECM, J623 (address word 0001) using the SVM action code as listed in the table below, if
necessary:
