Bulletin No.: Service Bulletin Date: 17-NA-220 November, 2023 TECHNICAL Subject: Brand: Chevrolet Accessory Cargo Net T-Bolts Loose Model: Model Year: from Bolt EV 2017 Bolt EUV 2022 VIN: to from to 2023 — — Engine: Transmission: All All Involved Region or Country North America, Brazil, Middle East, GM Korea Company Additional Options (RPOs) Equipped with Accessory Cargo Net (RPO W2D) Condition Some customers or technicians, upon installation of the accessory cargo net, may find the T-bolts that are secured to the side panels will not tighten securely or pull out of the metal hole. Cause This may be due to the holes stamped in the metal on the side panels may have been stamped too large for the coarse threaded T bolts. Correction Insert Riv-Nuts and fine tread T-bolts to install cargo net. In the event of a conflict between the procedures set forth in this bulletin and the laws that apply to your dealership, you must follow those applicable laws. If you encounter a vehicle with the above concern, complete the following steps: 4828889 1. Unclip the rear of the quarter lower rear trim panel to gain access to the T-bolt hole. Using a 23/64 drill bit, drill out existing hole for the installation of Riv-Nut. 4828897 4828891 4. Reinstall the quarter lower rear trim panel. 4828899 4828895 3. Using the Kent Moore Riv-Nut installer (B0-42151-8MM-KIT) or equivalent, insert and expand the Riv-Nut into the newly drilled hole. 5. Install fine threaded T-bolt into new Riv-Nut and tighten.
