ECM/PCM Power Relay De-Energized Performance - Too Early
DTC P068A, sometimes indicated as P068A00 is an OBD diagnostic trouble code indicating a generic fault with the vehicle powertrain (i.e. engine and gearbox). This code identifies an error with the transmission (gearbox) causing ecm/pcm power relay de-energized performance - too early.
One potential cause of this DTC code is a faulty ECM/PCM power relay. If the relay is faulty, it will not be able to keep the ECM/PCM powered up, which will cause the code to set. If this is the case, the relay will need to be replaced.

The truck was set on cruise control when i accelerated to pass a moving vehicle on a freeway. The truck would not stop accelerating when i removed my foot from the gas pedal; i had to break hard to control the speed. As soon as i removed my foot from the break, the car engine revved up again and quickly accelerated from 70 to 96 mph even though i was not touching the gas pedal. When i stopped the vehicle and put the truck in park, the engine continued to idle at a high speed. The diagnostic reader produced the error code "P068A - ecm/pcm power relay de-energized performance - too early". I took the truck to the dealership and they were able to reproduce the problem. To fix the issue, a new battery was installed.
