P0772
Shift Solenoid E Stuck On
DTC P0772, sometimes indicated as P077200 is an OBD diagnostic trouble code indicating a generic fault with the vehicle powertrain (i.e. engine and gearbox). This code identifies an error with the transmission (gearbox) causing shift solenoid e stuck on.
The most common causes of this code are a defective shift solenoid, a defective transmission valve body, or a low transmission fluid level.
If the shift solenoid is defective, it will need to be replaced. If the transmission valve body is defective, it will need to be replaced. If the transmission fluid level is low, the transmission fluid will need to be topped off.
