P1DF3

DTC P1DF3, sometimes indicated as P1DF300 is an OBD diagnostic trouble code indicating a manufacturer-specific fault with the vehicle powertrain (i.e. engine and gearbox). This code identifies an error with the causing p1df3.

Ehicle was parked over night came out next day to go to store ebgine light was on on further investigation i get a P1DF3 error code from my odb reader

2019 RAM 1500 with 32002.0 miles

Vehicle fails to start without any notice or apparent indications of a potential issue.I had someone use a code reader and got the following code P1DF3... I checked Ram forums and this is a common malfunction. Without warning something drains the battery. No one knows what will fix it yet.

2018 RAM 1500 with 52165.0 miles

Without warning or apparent cause, remote start resulted in 'click' sound. Attempted to start with push button and did not turnover. Received jump. After parking and returning, issue resumed. Discovered necessity to keep pushing start button until very, very rough and resistant turnover initiated. Once engine is on, no issues (other than blank 'fuel economy' and 'vehicle info' screens.) check engine light illuminated. Problem persists, accessories operational. Odb 2 code: P1DF3

2017 CHRYSLER 300 with 111000. miles

Jumped a vehicle at around 110000 miles ecm module draining battery according to dealer code P1DF3. Known problem among multiple Chrysler dodge jeep products when i did a quick web search. Ecm faulty requires full discharge with battery cables removed. Did not work for me had to go to dealership to get them to flash and reset if i did not have a warranty they would have charged me.

2017 RAM 1500 with 38000.0 miles

After sitting overnight, the truck wouldn't start. After charging 12 hours it starts but will not restart after shutting down. Obd P1DF3 code. Research shows many of the same complaint. Just purchased 6 months ago.
