O2 Sensor Pumping Current Trim Circuit/Open Bank 1 Sensor 1

DTC P2626, sometimes indicated as P262600 is an OBD diagnostic trouble code indicating a manufacturer-specific fault with the vehicle powertrain (i.e. engine and gearbox). This code identifies an error with the causing o2 sensor pumping current trim circuit/open bank 1 sensor 1.

This code is set when the O2 sensor pumping current trim circuit is open.
This code can be caused by a variety of things, including a bad O2 sensor, a bad wiring harness, or a bad ECM.
The best way to determine the cause of this code is to use a diagnostic scanner to read the O2 sensor pumping current trim value. If this value is not within the normal range, then the problem is likely with the O2 sensor or the wiring harness. If the value is normal, then the problem is likely with the ECM.

2013 FORD FOCUS with 75000.0 miles

Car was not idling correctly would hesitate or running efficiently. Fist dealer diagnosed that the vehicle needed a new pcm. After $1300 and a new pcm, 6 months go by, same problem came up. 2nd dealer diagnosed a P2626 to be a chaffed wire in a wire harness. $700 repair to replace two wires. There is a similar recall for Ford Focus st 14s17 that deals with a chaffed wire in wire harness.
