    2019 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER

Driving under "normal" weather conditions when the check engine light warning along with the hybrid maintenance warning light. The car stalled while trying to safely pull to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to the nearest Toyota dealership. They confirmed fuel pressure codes P0087, P107B, P3190. I was told Toyota has not issued any updates for this problem. So i am stuck with a car that isn't safe to drive, especially long distances.

    2017 TOYOTA 4RUNNER with 120.0 miles

Car stalled on the free way while driving . The dash board had a warning to check engine at dealer. The car was towed to the dealership (tansky sawmill, dublin oh). They reset the car and it was returned to us. According to dealership, diagnostics detected two error codes reported a) P0A0F, b) P3190 currently do not feel safe driving on the free way

2010 TOYOTA PRIUS with 125000. miles

While the vehicle was in motion, the engine started shaking, the steering and brakes locked up and the engine ceased up as the car shut off. Got error code P3190 for poor engine power, and then a day later everything was normal. This is the 2nd time this has happened while driving, the first time was in a 2002 Prius.

2010 TOYOTA PRIUS with 66395.0 miles

While making a u turn the vehicle lost power and the check hybrid system warning illuminated. The car died in the middle of the road. The dealer claimed that there was oil in the throttle body caused by overfilling and this is a common occurrence with oil overfills on Prius vehicles. The last oil change had been 8,000 miles and more than 2 months previous. The place that performed the oil change agreed to look at car and clean the throttle body. They also checked the oil and made sure it was correct level. Three weeks later the same thing occurred. This time the car lost power and the check engine light illuminated. The car died on a freeway transition over pass and we were stranded on the freeway in a very dangerous situation. The car was towed to another Toyota dealer and they claimed it was the same thing. The oil change place says absolutely no way is this the problem since they looked at it very closely the last time. I requested Toyota to send out a field representative to confirm that this was the cause. They refused. Computer codes P3190 and P0A0F hv.

2007 TOYOTA CAMRY with 215000. miles

While driving across nebraska (possibly just inside wyoming) heading to colorado on sun june 29th, on i-80 (very long, 80mph speed-limit highway), my Camry with 215,000 miles suddenly gave a 'check hybrid engine' code, which caused the gas-pedal to be unresponsive. The check engine symbol also came on. The electronic 'trip information' data-graphic showed my hybrid battery was down to one pink-line suggesting low-power in the hybrid battery. I was able to pull over smoothly. Over the course of two hours waiting for a tow-truck that never arrived, i turned the vehicle on/off a few times to verify the on-board gps for our location (all electrical systems within the vehicle still worked). At around the two hour waiting-mark, when i turned the vehicle back on, the 'check hybrid engine' alert and the check-engine symbol both disappeared, & i was able to safely drive the vehicle the additional 50+ miles to my final destination in fort collins colorado. I took it to a dealership in colorado & two codes were registered: poaof-204 - engine failed to start (?? The vehicle always 'started' so i'm not clear about this code) and P3190 - poor engine power. Even though i was able to limp the vehicle around fort collins, the hybrid battery would only get up to three charge lines (blue), which isn't even half-charged, before trickling back down to the two or even one pink-line. The vehicle is currently in-transit on a carrier truck to my home back in buffalo, ny. The vehicle's always been reliable to this point, and i have had it since approximately 23,000 miles (when i took it over from my father). I am concerned that this problem is the same problem affecting certain prius models (2011-2015) where the gas engine no longer communicates/charges the hybrid engine. The vehicle passed nys inspection with an oil change in june 2020. Thank you for your time.
