Recall R/2008/192

  • UK Recall: Front suspension arm could fail.
    >It has been identified that during manufacture an incorrect tightening torque may have been applied to the front suspension ball joint retaining nuts. this can result in the ball joint becoming loose in it's taper and in extreme circumstances an increase in wear may cause the suspension arm to break.

    Corrective Action:
Recalled vehicles will have the subject ball joint retaining nuts checked for correct torque. should this not be the case both suspension levers and the hub carrier will be changed.
