  Maserati north america, inc. (maserati) is recalling certain model year 2005-2008 quattroporte, 2008 granturismo, and 2008 alfa romeo 8c vehicles. The rear tie rod assemblies may have insufficient anti-corrosion material applied, allowing them to weaken and possibly fail.
  maserati will notify owners and dealers will replace the tie rod assemblies. The recall began on june 27, 2013. Customers may contact maserati at 1-877-696-2737. Maserati's recall campaign number is 205.

• Recall R/2008/192 [UK]: Front suspension arm could fail.
  It has been identified that during manufacture an incorrect tightening torque may have been applied to the front suspension ball joint retaining nuts. This can result in the ball joint becoming loose in it's taper and in extreme circumstances an increase in wear may cause the suspension arm to break.
  recalled vehicles will have the subject ball joint retaining nuts checked for correct torque. Should this not be the case both suspension levers and the hub carrier will be changed.

  On certain vehicles, the front and rear suspension upper and lower ball joint nuts may have been incorrectly torqued during vehicle assembly. Correction: dealers will verify tightening torque of the ball joint nuts and, if necessary, replace the suspension arms, ball joints and hub carriers.

• Recall 2005046 [Canada]: Airbag
  Certain vehicles have a non-functioning button with the words "passenger airbag off" etched into it. This button is located, along with an led light, on a console adjacent to the sunroof. This non-functioning button does not deactivate the passenger side airbag, nor is the led light an indication that the passenger side airbag has been deactivated. The button is non-functional and cannot be depressed when pushed. Correction: dealers will replace the console with one which does not contain the non-functioning button and led light.

  On certain vehicles, the outer door handle's internal wiring harness may short circuit and open the door's electrical switch. In certain situations the door might open without any action from the vehicle occupant. The central locking system will prevent this from occurring at speeds greater than 10 km/h. Takata recall.... The suspension on my 2005 maserati, model is a quadroportte, is giving way. When i go over any bumps on the road, the suspension is giving away. You can hear it rattle, and almost sounds as though, it's going to break in half. The car was taken to maserati and they "stone walled me a bit, but said that it has something to do with the strut bar, and or the suspension. This car has become very dangerous to drive and i want to alert the federal authorities. I would want maserati to recall this car to straighten out the problem and prevent loss of life. The suspension problem is on the right half of the maserati somewhere between the middle and back. We have had three technicians evaluate this problem and all say that maserati needs to recall the car. This is a manufacturers defect.

All rubber/plastic parts on entire dashboard and steering wheel are melting off. This is a huge concern and i hope to make the oem aware of it and come up with a solution.
