Maserati Emblem Polishing Guidelines

Caution when using an orbital machine when polishing:
Due to anomalies found on the MASERATI oval emblems of some cars on the field, a chemical
analysis of the components was performed. This applies to all Maserati vehicles equipped with
the oval emblem (sedans, SUVs, cabrio, and coupé).
The result of the analysis confirmed not only a lack of the coating material but also a lack of
paint caused by a polishing of the component done using an orbital polishing machine.

For this reason, it is recommended to educate the customer to avoid the polishing of the oval
emblems using an orbital polishing machine.
For the reasons mentioned earlier, any potential damage to the emblem cannot be claimed
under warranty.
