• Recall 114744 [USA]: In the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the driver's frontal air bag, the inflator could rupture with metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants resulting in serious injury or death.
  Chrysler (fca us llc) is recalling certain model year 2005-2009 dodge ram 2500, 2004-2008 dodge ram 1500 and durango, 2006-2009 dodge ram 3500, 2008-2010 dodge ram 4500 and 5500, 2007-2008 chrysler aspen, 2005-2010 chrysler 300, 300c, 300s, and srt8, 2006-2010 dodge charger, 2005-2008 magnum, 2005-2011 dodge dakota, and 2006-2009 mitsubishi raider vehicles. The affected vehicles are equipped with a dual-stage driver frontal air bag that may be susceptible to moisture intrusion which, over time, could cause the inflator to rupture.
  chrysler will notify the affected chrysler and dodge owners and mitsubishi will notify the affected raider owners. Dealers will replace the driver's frontal air bag inflator, free of charge. The recall began for chrylser on june 8, 2015. The recall for mitsubishi started on june 24, 2015. Chrysler and dodge owners may contact chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Mitsubishi owners may call 1-888-648-7820. Chrysler's number for this recall is r25. Note: this recall supersedes recall 14v817 in its entirety. Vehicles that have had their driver side frontal air bag replaced previously need to have their air bag replaced under this recall as well.

For the past two months while attempting to accelerate, my rpm will jump to over 3 while barely pressing on the gas. This issue tends to happen more when i slow down (but not completely stop, like at a changing light) and attempt to speed back up. My car doesn't accelerate very fast but the rpm will be very high. Also, while on the highway, going a constant speed my rpm will jump up and down. I've attempted to use my autostick to get the rpm to drop back down and it only helps occasionally. I've had spark plugs replaced, a new battery, a transmission flush, wires replaced for the throttle body (they were broken/burnt), my car said it had the wrong oil in it, so i got another oil change, i've had the transmission flashed twice. I've had 5 different people/shops look at my car (including the dealership) and none of them can figure out what's causing it, all repairs have totaled over the last two months since having this issue, roughly $1,500. The issue is still happening and this is my second chrysler 300c.

On or about february 10, 2017, i brought my chrysler 300c to orr chrysler ' dodge ' jeep ' ram located at 900 truman baker drive, searcy, ar 72143 via a tow truck because of a dead battery that had failed due to a faulty, defective alternator. After my father spoke with tommy, the service manager, my car was repaired; however, he and i were under the impression that the car would be repaired through a safety recall notice 14v-634 (aka p60) that had been issued for chrysler 300 cars experiencing similar issues.

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 chrysler 300c. While reversing, the vehicle independently shifted into park without warning. On another occasion, while the vehicle was at a complete stop, the vehicle independently shifted into park when the accelerator pedal was depressed. As a result, the vehicle jerked violently and stalled without warning. The vehicle was unable to restart. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer (grogan's towne chrysler jeep dodge ram located at 6100 telegraph rd toledo, ohio 43612) more than twice, but they were unable to duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and sent out engineers who could not duplicate the failure and determined that the vehicle was fine. The failure mileage was approximately 25,000.

The car shuts off while driving. This has happened to me at least 5 times in the past month so far usually in the middle of a turn. I have to put the car in park and turn the key in order to start it up again. It starts up and i'm on my way again. The issue is there is no warning like the car slowing down or vibrating or a dashboard warning light before it shuts down. I'm afraid the driver behind me will run in to me because of this. I've had a diagnostic test done today and the repair shop could not tell me what is wrong because they see no history of any codes coming up. They would need to see it happen. That would be hard to do.
