  Certain tigas fuel pump modules manufactured between june 1 and september 24, 2006, sold under various brand names and p/nos. These fuel pump modules are sold as aftermarket for use in certain daimlerchrysler vehicles listed above. Silicone material used in manufacture of the flapper valve was out-of-specification, leading to excess swell of the flapper valve restricting the flow of fuel to the fuel pump module.

• Recall 3422 [USA]: This condition could cause the lower lateral arm ball joint to separate, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash. this campaign supercedes mmc's previous safety recall campaign, see 99v-066.
  Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. If the rubber boots on the lower lateral arm ball joints of the front suspension were damaged during assembly, dirt and water can intrude. Also, mmc has added the potential of leaking moisture, which can cause the ball stud to corrode.
  dealers will inspect the lower lateral arm ball joint for wear. Ball joints that exhibit wear beyond the established tolerance will be replaced with newly designed lateral arm ball joints. Ball joints that are within the established tolerance will be cleaned and a special sealant will be applied to prevent intrusion of moisture.

• Recall 2001062 [Canada]: Steering
  On certain vehicles, the lower lateral arm ball joint can separate due to loss of lubrication. There is a potential for moisture to leak past the protective boot which can cause the ball stud to corrode. This corrosion, acting much like contamination, can also lead to premature wear and separation of the ball joint. This could result in loss of vehicle control and a possible crash. Correction: lower lateral arm ball joints will be inspected for wear and replaced as necessary with newly designed lower lateral arm ball joints. Ball joints that are within the established tolerance will be cleaned and a special sealant will be applied to prevent the intrusion of moisture.

  There are no injuries or fatalities associated with this alleged defect.While conducting this investigation, odi found that the subject cinches meet the load bearing requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard 208, and that many of the reported failures were due to incorrect child safety seat installations. Additionally, the report rate is low (1.60/100k).The information available fails to establish the existence of a defect trend at this time.Further allocation of agency resources to this issue is unwarranted and the preliminary evaluation is being closed.

I was not informed of a recall and me and my son were in the vehicle driving and it started hopping almost as if it had hydraulic. I told my son to fasten his seat belt considering we were just leaving the store and pulling onto a busy highway. It continued to wobble and i sped up to get off the hwy and then hen the jumping real high and hard began i was going maybe 45 mph and the axle or ballpoint had snapped causing the car wheel to lock up and cause me to run in the ditch luckily no one was harmed but we were very interested much so shaken up.. I had no issue out of that tire or ball joint before and i am needing to know what i need to do to start my investigation... Me and my son are happy no one was injured too bad. *tr

Seatbelt locks up to where u can't put it on before driving or when driving and seatbelt is on it sometimes locks up and you can't move your locked in place while driving. While driving if it locks up it can happen anywhere on any road or freeway it's malfunctioning and it's annoying especially when u have to be somewhere and you can't get your seatbelt to work making me drive without it on.. Ii took my car in to have the tires rotated and i was told i need new tires. My tires have only 20k miles and a 60k mile warranty. The tire shop called falken was given the run around for over a week by the manufacturer. I consulted online forums and checked w/ several tire shops and was told that the falken ziex 912's had wear problems and that falken had cut the warranty to 40k miles and they wouldn't sell them. Consumer reports highly recommended them in 2010 which is why i bought them. Many people online only had them last a few months and one lady i recall 6 months and all got no held or relief from falken. Why weren't these recalled and pulled from sale? Falken told the dealer i would need to buy new tires and then they'd consider maybe reimbursing me a small amount. I am disabled on a fixed income and cannot do this and i do not trust falken or their brand. I need tires for my car now and don't know what to do.

Tl* the contact owns a 2000 chrysler sebring. The contact stated that the vehicle stalled while driving and the anti-theft security system light illuminated after the failure occurred. The contact also stated that at initial start up, the anti-theft security system light illuminated and caused the engine to stall. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer to have a diagnostic performed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. Vin was not available. The failure and current mileage was 15,000.

Car horn keeps going off at random times, while driving and not driving. Looked up on internet and very well known issue, part is extremely expensive, only alternative is to pull fuse for horn out, but in doing so the air bags are also disabled. *tr

There a recall on 10-13-2009 for bad ball joints. I bought the car in 12-2010 never got a recall notice on ball joints. On nov-16-2012-we were driving with my 9 yr old and 10 year old with no warning the ball joint broke on driver side wheel . Car went out of control we almost hit two phone poles the car went into a field. The wheel is now hanging off car not driveable. Nobody was hurt it could of been worse. Will chrysler still have honor this recall to fix my car being the recall was 3 yrs ago if i knew there was a recall i would of had this fix. *tr

Passenger grabbed interior door handle and had finger sliced open by chrome plating on the handle which had peeled back leaving exposed sharp strip of chrome facing away from handle. Finger bled profusely but did not require stitches. Cut was about 5/16th inch long. *tr
