  Curt mfg is recalling certain class 3 receiver hitches, p/n 13347, sold as aftermarket equipment for use on 1997-2007 chrysler town and country vans, 1996-2007 dodge caravans, and 1996-2004 plymouth voyager vans. When the hitch is loaded to the maximum rating, the hitch may fracture or break at the bend location where the main body of the hitch meets the hitch muffler strap.

• Recall 59375 [USA]: Loss of brake fluid can lead to a decrease in brake line pressure and an increase in stopping distance, which can result in a vehicle crash.
  Certain aftermarket brake hydraulic master cylinders sold as replacement brake cylinders for certain ford, daimlerchrysler, and jeep passenger vehicles. These brake cylinders were sold under the brand names of napa, raybestos, aimco, ac delco, carquest, bendix, and wagner. Only products that were manufactured from july 27, 2005 through january 17, 2006 (date codes 0529 through 0602) are subject to this recall. When subject to very cold temperatures, an internal seal in the master cylinder could lose flexibility and may cause brake fluid to leak.
  affinia (brake parts, inc.) will replace the subject brake hydraulic master cylinders free of charge. The recall began on march 20, 2006. Owners can contact affina group customer service at 1-800-323-0354.

  On certain minivans equipped with 3.3 or 3.8l v-6 engine, the upper power steering cooler hose may split and cause a fluid leak.

  Certain aftermarket replacement fuel filters, models wix filter part numbers 33576, 33577, 33734; napa filter part numbers 3576, 3577, 3734; and carquest filter part numbers 86576, 86577, 86734 used on 1996-2000 daimlerchrysler town & country, dodge caravan, and plymouth voyager vehicles, can cause the fuel lines to leak.

• Recall 59149 [USA]: If this condition occurred while the vehicle is in motion, the engine could stall. also, in the presence of an ignition source, the fuel leak could result in a vehicle fire.
  Aftermarket replacement fuel filters manufactured between september 17, 2002, and january 20, 2003, sold under the brand names listed above. The filter may experience malfunction of the quick connector either blocking fuel flow to the engine or causing a fuel leak. If so, the owners should have the filter replaced.   This defect petition evaluates july 7, 2014 allegations from an owner of a model year (my) 2007 dodge grand caravan minivan that engine stall occurs in these vehicles without warning after refueling.The petitioners vehicle is a chrysler rs platform minivan.The rs platform includes my 2003 through 2007 dodge grand caravan, dodge caravan, chrysler town and country and chrysler voyager minivans.Nhtsa evaluated the petition by analyzing consumer complaints submitted to the agency, analyzing field data, reviewing technical information provided in chryslers response to an agency information request and testing an rs minivan identified by its owner as experiencing post-refuel engine stalls.After completing this evaluation, nhtsa has concluded that further investigation is unlikely to result in a finding that a defect related to motor vehicle safety exists.The stalls occurring in these vehicles only occur immediately after filling up the fuel tank and happen at low engine speeds. The failure rate is low, even after 8 to 13 years of the vehicles being in service, and there are no reports of crashes or injuries resulting from the stall condition.In the agencys view, additional investigation is unlikely to result in finding the existence of a safety-related defect in the subject vehicles.Given the need to allocate and prioritize nhtsas limited resources to best accomplish the agencys safety mission, the petition is denied.This action does not constitute a finding by nhtsa that a safety-related defect does not exist. Reverse lights do not work. Told by 2 mechanics that chrysler had repaired via recall or letters in past. I was told this is a routine problem with the car. This is a major safety issue and should be covered.

So i was driving down the road and i heard a noise from the rear end of the van mind you the speed limit is 45mph here. I drive it to the nearest shop to have them look at it , they came in and told me i'm lucky to have made it this far as ( the rear chassis has broke! ) this is a safety issue and needs to be addressed just like ford motor company did with their vans !!! I have heard about other voyager vans having this issue in salt belt states .

Tl* the contact owns a 2003 chrysler voyager. While driving 35 mph, the vehicle shook and failed to accelerate over 50 mph. The vehicle felt as if it would stall. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that there was an electrical cable failure that ran through the fuel injection and needed to replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 217,000.

Our van model / year isn't listed under the ignition switch recall, but we have the identical issue; you can remove the key in any position - whether the motor is running, or is on accessory. *tr

In the beginning, it began with the airbag light intermittent views. But quickly, a few kilometers later this light remained lit permanently. At the time, the cruise control works once on three, and then after nothing. The airbag light remains lit continuously, the cruise control does not work, and worse the horn is inoperative. I can no longer take the vehicle. I called the chrysler dealer in my region who told me that this will be charged at around 300 euros because my vehicle is not affected by the recall of the chrysler voyager for those same failures. It is then by searching on the internet i came across your site sorry for my approximate english. I speak better french. Tl* the contact owns a 2003 chrysler voyager. The contact stated that she heard noise coming from the brakes when she applied pressure. The vehicle was taken to private mechanic who advised the contact to replace the front brakes. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure nor was the vehicle repaired. The current and the failure mileages were unknown.
