• Recall 128219 [USA]: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
  Entegra coach (entegra) is recalling certain 2010-2011 aspire, anthem, and cornerstone recreational vehicles, equipped with kidde plastic-handle or push button 'pindicator' fire extinguishers. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable.   entegra will notify owners, instructing them to contact kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on january 15, 2018. • Recall 115515 [USA]: Unstable entry and exit steps increase the risk of injury.
  Entegra coach (entegra) is recalling certain model year 2008 and 2010-2011 aspire and anthem motorhomes, 2008 and 2010 cornerstone motorhomes, 2008 emblem and alante motorhomes, and 2009-2011 insignia motorhomes. The affected vehicles are equipped with certain lippert-brand coachstep double aelectric steps. These steps use a bolt to attach the fan gear assembly to the steps. This bolt may fracture allowing the fan gear to disengage from the steps. As a result, the steps may not remain in the expected position and may become unstable.
  entegra will notify owners, and dealers will install a retainer bracket on the double step assemblies. On the trip step assemblies, the coachstep linkage assembly will be replaced and a retainer bracket will be installed. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. • Recall 111155 [USA]: If hot exhaust gas contacts other components or materials, it can increase the risk of a fire.
  Entegra coach (entegra) is recalling certain model year 2010 anthem and 2012-2014 cornerstone motorhomes manufactured october 5, 2009, to june 18, 2013 and built on a spartan motors chassis. In the affected vehicles, the flexible exhaust tube may tear allowing hot exhaust to blow against other components or materials.
  entegra will notify owners and spartan motors dealers will replace the flexible exhaust tube with an improved one, free of charge. The recall began on october 20, 2015. Entegra owners may contact spartan customer service at 1-800-543-4277.

• Recall 99866 [USA]: Prolonged rubbing of the power cables against the sliding tray rails may cause the wires to short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.
  Entegra coach is recalling certain model year 2010-2014 anthem and cornerstone motorhomes manufactured december 16, 2009, through april 30, 2013. The power cables from the exterior freezer can be damaged due to contact with the freezer sliding tray rails.

• Recall 70939 [USA]: The sensing algorithm or thermal switch installed to shut off power to the refrigerator when high temperatures are detected due to a possible hydrogen gas leak may not shut off in sufficient time to prevent a fire.
  Entegra is recalling certain fifth wheel trailers equipped with 1200-series norcold refrigerators. The population of refrigerators being addressed contains either a sensing algorithm or thermal switch to shut off power to the refrigerator when high temperatures are detected in order to prevent a potential fire. The response times of the sensor algorithm and thermal switch devices to stop power are not sufficient.
  entegra is working with norcold to identify and notify any affected owners. Owners will be instructed to contact norcold dealers to receive the remedy free of charge. • Recall 86684 [USA]: A reduction in braking or interference with the throttle pedal could result in a crash.
  Entegra coach has notified nhtsa about a defect in certain model year 2009-2010 anthem and cornerstone motorhomes manufactured from march 24, 2009 and february 16, 2010 built on spartan chassis and equipped with pneumatic and hydraulic adjustable brake pedal assemblies supplied by kongsberg automotive. The drive pin which secures the brake pedal arm to the balance assembly may become disengaged, this may cause a reduction in vehicle braking and/or cause the brake pedal to move out of position and interfere with throttle pedal function.

  On certain motorhomes equipped with kidde fire extinguishers with black plastic handles and valves, the fire extinguishers may become clogged or require excessive force to activate. Also, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury, and fail to discharge. In case of fire, failure of the extinguisher to function could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: owners will be provided with instructions on how to inspect the fire extinguisher to see if it is recalled. Replacement fire extinguishers will be supplied by kidde directly. • Recall 2016017 [Canada]: Accessories
  On certain motorhomes equipped with lippert components inc. Electric entry steps, an internal bolt on the steps that attaches the fan gear assembly to the steps could fracture. This results in the fan gear disengaging from the steps, which could cause the steps to stop in an unexpected position and appear to be loose or unstable. If the steps become unstable, it could cause a person to fall, resulting in injury. Correction: dealers will install a step retainer bracket to reinforce the operating mechanism, and all bolts of the mechanism will also be replaced.

  On certain vehicles equipped with a four-in-one air gauge, the air brake system pressure gauge may display an inaccurate pressure reading. This could cause the service brake air pressure to be lower than anticipated, causing a reduction in braking force and an unexpected application of emergency spring brakes, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.   Certain motorhomes equipped with a spartan chassis may experience an unintended increase in vehicle speed after the cruise control is set. Then, if the brake is applied and released, cruise control function may resume and the vehicle speed may continue to increase. An unexpected moderate increase in vehicle speed may go unnoticed by the driver and, depending on traffic and road conditions, and the driver's reactions, could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: owners are advised to contact spartan motor chassis, inc. At 800-393-8861, to locate an authorized repair facility. The remedy consists of replacing the cruise control switch and reprogramming the control module.

  On certain vehicles, the adjustable brake pedal arm may loosen, rotate around its shaft, and swing in front of the accelerator pedal. Should the brake pedal arm contact and engage the accelerator pedal, it could result in extended stopping distances and a vehicle crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: dealers will install a c-clamp assembly to the brake pedal arm.

• Recall 2010452 [Canada]: Accessories
  Certain refrigerators used in recreational vehicles (rvs) contain either a sensing algorithm or a thermal switch to interrupt power when it detects high temperatures that could lead to a fire. An insufficient response time can result in the power not being shut-off in sufficient time to prevent a fire, which could result in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: dealers will install a thermocouple with a faster response time for all refrigerators with a sensing algorithm or a thermal switch.
