• Recall 234133 [USA]: The undersized air brake supply reservoir may provide an insufficient air supply to properly operate the brakes during repetitive braking, reducing braking performance and increasing the risk of a crash.
  Entegra coach (entegra) is recalling certain 2015-2019 aspire and insignia motorhomes. The service and supply reservoirs have an insufficient volume of air for the brake system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 121, "air brake systems."
  dealers will replace the air reservoir, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed december 21, 2022. Owners may contact entegra customer service at 1-800-283-8267.

• Recall 133125 [USA]: Electrical arcing in the presence of leaking power steering fluid can increase the risk of a fire.
  Entegra coach (entegra) is recalling certain 2011-2012 and 2015-2016 aspire built on freightliner custom chassis corporation (fccc) chassis. The power steering hose on the affected vehicles may be routed incorrectly, and, as a result, the hose may rub against the power stud on the starter motor, possibly causing electrical arcing and a power steering fluid leak.

  Entegra coach (entegra) is recalling certain 2015-2016 aspire and 2017-2018 insignia motorhomes built on a spartan chassis. The air brake supply reservoir is less than 12x the combined volume of air for all service brake chambers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 121, "air brake systems."
  entegra will notify owners, and spartan service centers will replace the current air supply reservoir with one that has twice the capacity, free of charge. The recall began on february 16, 2018. Owners may contact spartan chassis at 1-800-543-4277 or entegra customer service at 1-800-517-9137.

  Entegra coach (entegra) is recalling certain 2016-2018 aspire, anthem, cornerstone, and insignia motorhomes. The vehicles have lights that do not include reflectors and the vehicle does not have separate reflectors. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."

• Recall 107331 [USA]: A sudden loss of an engine brake without warning on a motorhome may lead to a reduced brake capacity potentially increasing the risk of a crash.
  Entegra coach (entegra) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 aspire and aspire tk motorhomes manufactured july 14, 2014, to january 15, 2016. The throttle pedal position sensor on the affected vehicles may not return to zero, causing the engine brake to suddenly not activate as expected, reducing the vehicle's deceleration ability.

On these vehicles, equipped with a heavier, adjustable foot pedal, the brake activation signal to certain towed devices may not deactivate when the motorhome service brakes are released.

• Recall 2018239 [Canada]: Steering
  On certain vehicles built on a freightliner xbr chassis, a rubber-coated braided power steering hose may have inadequate clearance to the starter power stud due to incorrect routing. This could cause the power steering hose to rub against the stud on the starter motor, which could cause an electrical arc and a power steering fluid leak. A power steering leak in the presence of an electrical arc could increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. A power steering fluid leak could also require additional steering effort which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: daimler trucks of north america service facilities will reroute the power steering hose to ensure proper clearance to starter stud.

  Certain vehicles may not comply with the requirements of canada motor vehicle safety standard 121 - air brake systems. The combined volume of air in all service and supply reservoirs does not meet requirements of the standard. This may provide an insufficient air supply to properly operate the brakes during repetitive brake applications, reducing braking performance, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: dealers will replace the 500 cubic inches supply reservoir (wet tank) with a 1000 cubic inches supply reservoir.

Tl* the contact owns a 2016 entegra aspire. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the dealer (motor home specialist located at 5411 s interstate 35 w, alvarado, tx 76009) for nhtsa campaign number: 18v077000 (service brakes, air) to be performed. The dealer stated that they were unaware of the recall and that they were not able to honor the replacement of the current air supply reservoir. The manufacturer was informed of the issue and stated that the recall notice was an error and that it should not have been issued because it was currently under investigation and nhtsa had to approve the recall. In addition, the contact stated that the vehicle was repaired at the same dealer (motor home specialist located at 5411 s interstate 35 w, alvarado, tx 76009) under nhtsa campaign number: 17v695000 (exterior lighting). The contact stated that prior to the recall remedy being performed, the front, middle, and rear reflectors flickered when making a left or right turn or switching lanes. After the recall remedy, the reflectors no longer flickered to make other drivers aware that the driver was attempting to make a left or right turn or switching lanes. The contact inquired about the reflectors not flickering with the dealer and it was informed that by law the reflectors were not required to flicker. The contact was concerned that the recall remedy could potentially cause a crash. The manufacturer was also called at 800-517-9137 and confirmed the information provided by the dealer. The dealer or the manufacturer offered no further assistance. The contact had not experienced a failure. *tt *dt*jb

I had the driver side steer tire blow out (goodyear g670 r295 22.5) at 71mph on i-10 eastbound approaching exit 5. I ended up disabled in the median but didn't roll the rv and managed to not cross over into opposing traffic. *bf ** *tr

I have seen that there is an investigation into our goodyear steer tires on out motorcoaches because of blowouts! The weight rating on these tires for the weight carried up front is at limit or over! I have scaled mine right after purchase and was slightly over tire weight rating! Entegra realized there mistake into later years and changed to a higher weight rated tire. I believe the nhtsa should have made them change these tires and no highway deaths would have happened. If i would have put underrated tires onto our trucking company trucks and caused highway fatality you know what would happen. Come on guys, that should have been a recall!
