1/8 INCH ALLEN WRENCH AND AN ELECTRIC DRILL (RECOMMENDED 2000
RPM) WITH 7/16” HEX HEAD DRIVER.
1/4 inch or 6 MM Allen wrench.
DO NOT USE AN IMPACT DRILL IT WILL BREAK THE 7/16” HEX NUT OFF JACK MOTOR.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR OVERRIDE MODE ON EQUALIZER LEVELING SYSTEM
1. Locate the pump/manifold
assembly shown in Fig 2; it is
located behind the driver side front
tires in the cargo bay area behind a
plastic cover shown in Fig 1. The
location of the pump/manifold
assembly on a Cornerstone is on
the passenger side, all other
models are on the driver side.

2. The Insignia, Aspire, and Anthem pumps are located in the cargo bay on the driver side behind the
front tire shown in Fig 3. The cornerstone pump is located in the cargo bay on the passenger side
behind the front tire shown in Fig 4.

3. Locate the four individual cartridge valves shown in Fig 5 & 6 with a 1/8” Allen Screw recessed
inside the valve stem. Turn the screw in clockwise approximately 2 turns until it stops. All four
screws may be selected on or only the jack(s) that need to be retracted.

4. Remove the rubber plug or the brass cover shown in Fig 7 to access the 7/16 hex nut. Using a drill
and 7/16 hex drive rotate the nut counter-clockwise to retract the jacks.
a. Note: It is easier to remove and reinstall the screws and brass cover than the rubber plug
i. This process should not be used to extend or deploy the jacks after manually
retracting them. Extending the jacks after they have failed may cause a failure that
would prohibit travel.
