• Recall 234132 [USA]: The undersized air brake supply reservoir may provide an insufficient air supply to properly operate the brakes during repetitive braking, reducing braking performance and increasing the risk of a crash.
  Entegra coach (entegra) is recalling certain 2015-2019 aspire and insignia motorhomes. The service and supply reservoirs have an insufficient volume of air for the brake system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 121, "air brake systems."
  dealers will replace the air reservoir, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed december 21, 2022. Owners may contact entegra customer service at 1-800-283-8267.

• Recall 133124 [USA]: Electrical arcing in the presence of leaking power steering fluid can increase the risk of a fire.
  Entegra coach (entegra) is recalling certain 2011-2012 and 2015-2016 aspire built on freightliner custom chassis corporation (fccc) chassis. The power steering hose on the affected vehicles may be routed incorrectly, and, as a result, the hose may rub against the power stud on the starter motor, possibly causing electrical arcing and a power steering fluid leak.

The air brake supply reservoir is less than 12x the combined volume of air for all service brake chambers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 121, "air brake systems."

• Recall 107330 [USA]: A sudden loss of an engine brake without warning on a motorhome may lead to a reduced brake capacity potentially increasing the risk of a crash.

The throttle pedal position sensor on the affected vehicles may not return to zero, causing the engine brake to suddenly not activate as expected, reducing the vehicle's deceleration ability.

In the affected vehicles, the fasteners that attach the stay rod (v-rod) to the rear drive axle may not have been installed with thread locker or tightened in the correct sequence.

The cummins isb or isl engines in these vehicles may have been equipped with fleetguard uff-xt fuel filters, part number ff63009, whose filter shell may separate from the fuel filter nut plate causing the engine to stall without warning.

• Recall 2018239 [Canada]: Steering
  On certain vehicles built on a freightliner xbr chassis, a rubber-coated braided power steering hose may have inadequate clearance to the starter power stud due to incorrect routing. This could cause the power steering hose to rub against the stud on the starter motor, which could cause an electrical arc and a power steering fluid leak. A power steering leak in the presence of an electrical arc could increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. A power steering fluid leak could also require additional steering effort which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: daimler trucks of north america service facilities will reroute the power steering hose to ensure proper clearance to starter stud.

  Certain vehicles may not comply with the requirements of canada motor vehicle safety standard 121 - air brake systems. The combined volume of air in all service and supply reservoirs does not meet requirements of the standard. This may provide an insufficient air supply to properly operate the brakes during repetitive brake applications, reducing braking performance, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: dealers will replace the 500 cubic inches supply reservoir (wet tank) with a 1000 cubic inches supply reservoir.

• Recall 2014442 [Canada]: Fuel supply
  On certain motor homes equipped with cummins isl engines, the fuel filter shell and nut plate could separate, causing a fuel leak and also causing the engine to stall. Stalling would result in a loss of motive power, increasing the risk of a crash resulting in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: authorized spartan chassis service centers will replace the fuel filter.
