• Recall 257605 [USA]: A loose or detached seat assembly increases the risk of injury.
  Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2020-2023 entegra anthem, aspire, cornerstone, and reatta xl motorhomes. The pedestal mounting plate on the passenger's seat may be improperly welded, causing the plate to separate and the seat assembly to loosen or detach. As such, these seat assemblies fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 207, "seating systems" and number 210, "seat belt assembly anchorages."
  dealers will inspect for a missing weld and replace the pedestal as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed march 11, 2024. Owners may contact jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9903602.

  Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2021-2023 entegra anthem, aspire, cornerstone, reatta, reatta xl, and jayco embark motorhomes. The engine air intake box may not have a water drain installed, which can cause water to build up inside the air intake box.

  Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2021 class a cornerstone motorhomes. A machining defect may cause pressure to build in the power steering pump and break the shaft seal, resulting in a loss of power steering assist.

• Recall 145099 [USA]: Damaged power seat wires may short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.
  Jayco, inc. (jayco) is recalling certain 2021 entegra aspire, anthem, cornerstone, and reattaxl motorhomes built with villa power seats. The power seat wiring may become chafed due to poor routing, and no protection, or melt from exceeding the 14 gauge wire amp capacity.
  jayco will notify owners, and the dealers will inspect the seat wiring for loom protection and secure it with wire ties, free of charge. The remedy regarding the switch and exceeding the amp capacity is still under development. The recall began december 4, 2020. Owners may contact jayco customer service at 1-800-517-9137. • Recall 2021701 [Canada]: Steering
  Issue: on one motorhome, a defect in the power steering pump could cause it to fail. If this happens, there could be a loss of power steering assist. Safety risk: a loss of power steering assist may result in a sudden increase in steering effort, especially at low speeds. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: entegra coach will notify the owner by mail and instruct them to take their motorhome to an authorized shyft group inc. Repair facility to replace the power steering pump.

• Recall 2021608 [Canada]: Visual system
  Issue: on certain motorhomes, the instrument cluster may overheat and go blank for short periods of time while driving. If this happens, you may not see important information such as the vehicle's speed, gauges and warning lights. Safety risk: an instrument cluster that goes blank and does not display information about vehicle systems could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to update the instrument cluster control module. The dealer will also move the air ducts for the defrosting and defogging system as far away from the control module as possible.

• Recall 2021440 [Canada]: Structure
  Issue: on certain motorhomes equipped with frameless windows, the adhesive that attaches the vented portion of the windows may fail. If this happens, the glass could separate and fall from the motorhome. Safety risk: a window that detaches from the motorhome could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective action: jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your motorhome to an authorized dealer or service center to inspect and replace the vent window glass, as required.

• Recall 2020476 [Canada]: Seats and restraints
  Issue: on certain motorhomes equipped with driver and passenger villa 6-way power seats, the wiring for the seat rocker switch may not be the correct size and may not be routed correctly. As a result, the switch wires could be damaged on the seat frame. This could cause a short circuit. Additionally, if the seat rocker switch gets stuck in the on (open) position, the wires could overheat and melt. Safety risk: a short circuit or overheated wiring could create the risk of fire. Corrective actions: jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer for an interim repair. The dealer will install a protective loom and cable ties to secure the wiring harness until the final repairs are available. You should make sure that the seat rocker switch is not stuck in the on position after using it, to prevent the wires from overheating.

I have owned both a 2019 and the new 2021 entegra cornerstone motor homes. On both motor homes, the diesel exhaust fluid (def) sensor have failed in less that 2,000 miles. When def sensors fail the engine can go into derate which is 5 mph in less that a couple hundred miles. This problem is leaving many large diesel engine owned vehicles stranded, from motor homes to large over the road trucks. I have contacted spartan motors the manufacture of the chassis, which referred me to shaw development, the manufacture of the def sensor. Shaw development refuses to take calls or emails requesting information regarding this problem. The def sensors was a regulation passed by epa in 2016, stating the def concentration be measured in the def tanks of vehicles. However the def sensor manufactures cannot seems to manufacture a part that will work and not put engine into derate. Shaw development is currently at the sixth generation of the def sensor which are still failing on brand now 2021 year motor homes. That is six attempts to make a part that continues to leave people on long trips stranded. With all of the contacts i have made regarding this problem, nothing is being done except passing the buck.
