Recall 2001140 [Canada]: Steering
Certain heavy duty trucks and school bus chassis equipped with tie rod assemblies containing 24-dl model ball sockets and manufactured by trw. Certain of the tie rod ball-socket bearings have a below-specification case depth and/or hardness, which can lead to premature wear of the socket. If this condition occurs, the driver can lose partial control of the right front wheel, possibly resulting in a crash. Correction: dealers will replace the defective ball sockets and/or drag links.Recall 2000182 [Canada]: Other
On certainve vehicles, transmission fluid may leak from a heat degraded transmission fluid cooler hose onto the exhaust system on the passenger's side. If this were to occur, a fire could result. Correction: dealers will install a new transmission fluid cooler inlet hose and outlet hose designed with a heat sleeve and ensure adequate clearance to the exhaust system take down pipe. The right hand exhaust manifold seal will be inspected for leakage and replaced if necessary.Recall 2001140 [Canada]: Steering
