• Recall 107702 [USA]: If the ignition stays between "start" and "on" positions it could cause loss of certain electrical functions. if the ignition key inadvertently moves into the "off" or "accessory" position, the engine will turn off, which will then depower various key safety systems including but not limited to air bags, power steering, and power braking. loss of functionality of these systems may increase the risk of crash and/or increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
  Chrysler group llc (chrysler) is recalling certain model year 2008 chrysler 300 vehicles manufactured may 31, 2007, to may 12, 2008, dodge magnum vehicles manufactured may 23, 2007, to may 12, 2008, dodge charger vehicles manufactured may 24, 2007, to may 12, 2008, jeep commander vehicles manufactured april 3, 2007, to may 12, 2008, and jeep grand cherokee vehicles manufactured march 21, 2007, to may 12, 2008. In the affected vehicles, the ignition key (fobik) may not return to the "on" position after being rotated to the "start" position, instead sticking between the two positions. Potentially, while the vehicle is being driven, the ignition may inadvertently move through the "run" position to the "accessory" or "off" ignition position, turning off the engine.

• Recall 74585 [USA]: This condition could cause a loss of effective lift and lowering of the affected vehicle, possibly creating the driver to panic which could possibly lead to a vehicle crash.
  Rock krawler is recalling 44 performance suspension systems sold as aftermarket equipment for use on the vehicle listed above. These suspension systems were produced with grade 2 carriage bolts instead of the proper grade 5 carriage bolts. The improper grade 2 carriage bolts could experience a loss of clamping force for the bottom strut fork.

  On certain vehicles equipped with a full-time four-wheel drive system, the transfer case controller could fail. This could cause the transfer case to shift into or through the neutral position, which may allow the vehicle to roll away, even with the transmission in the park position. Should the vehicle roll away, it could strike another vehicle, stationary object, or a bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: dealers will reprogram the final drive controller with updated software.

  On certain vehicles that were not equipped with a factory sunroof, the supplemental side airbag inflatable curtain may not position properly during inflation. The side curtain airbag will still timely deploy and meet and exceed applicable safety standards. Correction: dealers will install a bracket and foam block behind the "b" pillar upper trim cover to improve side curtain airbag positioning in the event of a deployment. This action is a customer satisfaction campaign and is not being conducted as per the requirements of the motor vehicle safety act.

On a 2 lane road at a speed of 25 to 30 mph, the 2008 jeep commander quit accelerating when the gas pedal was pushed. It responded as if it was in neutral. Rpm's reved up high with no acceleration. When the vehicle was turned off and then back on it continued to do the same thing. Intermittently.

Recall p57 was never fulfilled on my vehicle. I filled out the recall card and mailed it but never heard anything and my vehicle seems to be having issues from what this recall entailed. Please advise how i can get this recall fixed on my vehicle. I've had off and on issues with it at starting and have had it in the shop with no true resolution and sunday 10/25 it started again. Thanks, angie

Tl* the contact owns a 2008 jeep commander equipped with bf goodrich tires, tire line: rugged terrain, tire size: 245/65/17, dot number: bf8t. The contact stated that he experienced a puncture and had the vehicle taken to an independent mechanic to have the tire repaired. The contact was informed that all the other tires showed tread separation. The contact contacted the local walmart where the tires were purchased but was offered no assistance. The tire manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle failure mileage was 170,000. The tire failure mileage was unknown. The vin was not available.
