• Recall 14949 [USA]: If wheel separation occurs while the vehicle is inmotion, both steering and braking could be affected resulting in a vehiclecrash.
  These wheels are composed of 2 pieces - a disc and a rim which are normally welded together. These wheels lack the specified fillet welds.
  dealers will inspect the manufacturing codes stamped on each wheel and if a wheel falls within the specified date code range, the dealer will replace that wheel.

• Recall 15238 [USA]: If the air dryer separates from the base, the cartridge can separate sufficiently enough to cause personal injury or property damage.
  Air system blockage in the air dryer occurs degrading the moisture removing capabilities of the dryer when the vehicle is operated in a cold environment and moisture accumulates and freezes in the air dryer or in the line between the dryer and the air system reservoir. The air dryer can become overpressurized causing the air dryer cartridge to separate from the mounting base.
  dealers will equip air systems with a pressure relief valve to be located between the compressor and the air dryer. This pressure relief valve is intended to vent if excessive pressure develops in the air dryer.

• Recall 20352 [USA]: This condition can cause bolt failure and allow thedriveline to separate from the carrier assembly.
  The carrier yoke bolts were manufactured with worn rolling thread dies, causing stress concentrations which caused cracks during the quenching process.

  Defect: vehicles not equipped with a protective pressure relief valve between the air compressor and air dryer, have the possibility of becoming overpressurized and the air dryer may separate from the mounting base. The separated cartridge may cause personal injury or property damage. Correction: a protective pressure relief valve between the air compressor and the air dryer will be installed.

  Note: class 8 trucks. The bolts that retain the driveline yokes to the truck's rear and rear rear carriers may be defective and could fail and allow the driveline to separate from the carrier assembly. The resulting debris falling to the road surface could create a safety hazard to other highway users. Correction: carrier yoke bolts will be replaced on affected vehicles.
