Also, a completely separated crossmember with attached height control valves could affect the height of the suspension air springs. The resulting lean could cause loss of control.

  Summary: truck driver reports seat teathers are not properly adjusted at factory, allowing seat to hinge forward in a collision. Teathers act as restrainers, and if improperly adjusted seat belt is useless as it is attached to the seat. During sudden deceleration or collision the whole assembly hinges forward allowing possible facial contact with the windshield.===
