  Fuel injection system reconfiguration to comply with engine emission standards cause higher engine vibration levels which lead to early wear and complete failure of the secondary throttle return mechanism.

This malfunction could occur at any time without prior warning and could impair driver visibility. Correction: left hand control arm linkage assembly will be replaced on affected vehicles.

• Recall 1989071 [Canada]: Suspension
  The reyco suspension torque rod bolts on these vehicles are not to specification. The bolts have no markings, indicating that they are grade 2 instead of the required grade 5. Failure of these bolts could allow the rear axle to shift which could adversely affect vehicle control and possibly lead to a crash. Correction: retrofit chassis built with reyco suspension with grade 5 bolts and nuts.

  Note: vehicles manufactured at the winnsboro, south carolina facility. The steering wheel retaining nuts may have been improperly installed and/or torqued. If either of these procedures occured, it is possible that the steering wheel could disengage itself from the steering column causing loss of steering control. Correction: steering wheel retaining nuts will be replaced and retorqued on all affected vehicles.
