  Fuel injection system reconfiguration to comply with engine emission standards cause higher engine vibration levels which lead to early wear and complete failure of the secondary throttle return mechanism.

Spring hanger failure could cause separation of vehicle components and result in possible loss of vehicle control and a crash or roll-over. Correction: spring hanger brackets will be replaced with strengthened versions.

  A tolerance mismatch in the crank assembly of the robert bosch windshield wiper motor system could cause instantaneous separation of the crank from the linkage assembly in the left hand control arm linkage rendering the system inoperable. This malfunction could occur at any time without prior warning and could impair driver visibility. Correction: left hand control arm linkage assembly will be replaced on affected vehicles.

• Recall 1989021 [Canada]: Suspension
  V.I.N's - 2m2p141y7kC006814, 2m2P141C3kC006815, 2m2P141C8kC006888. Involved vehicles are equipped with hendrickson rt450 suspensions. The beam end adapter kit was built with a 3\4 inch diameter bolt instead of the specified 1 inch bolt. This 3\4 inch bolt may break, causing disengagement of the beam connection on the rear suspension resulting in a loss of control by the operator and a possible crash. Correction: suspect bolts will be replaced with 1 inch bolts. Note: vehicles are located in ontario.

  Note: vehicles manufactured at the winnsboro, south carolina facility. The steering wheel retaining nuts may have been improperly installed and/or torqued. If either of these procedures occured, it is possible that the steering wheel could disengage itself from the steering column causing loss of steering control. Correction: steering wheel retaining nuts will be replaced and retorqued on all affected vehicles.
