Front cross members and lower control arm recall. This crossbar has been recalled and i have been having trouble for 6 to 8 months now. Today 9-7-16, i experienced a violent shaking of the steering wheel. I was doing about 40 mph and the steering wheel starts shaking, i slowed down and stopped and then got back up to 30 mph and the shaking came back, i did this 3 or 4 times. I have had in the shop at midas and joes garage and neither of them knows why it does this. I have been afraid to drive it but i need my car. It finally stopped doing it today after i came to a stop and started up again on the 5th try. It seems to go away for awhile! I have called the dealership and the part has not been made for them to replace the recalled items. I have spent money on shocks, suspension, bearings, etc. What am i supposed to do if the two places i have taken it cannot figure it out. Mitsubishi dealer told me to wait til the parts come in, because they would not be able to fix it without the parts?
