Tl*the contact owns a 2007 eclipse attitude ak25 (na). While driving 5 mph, the hitch failed which caused the trailer to fall. There is a recall for the trailer hitches (nhtsa campaign id # 07e044000) however; the contact stated that she did not receive the recall notice. The vin, mileage, number of cylinders and engine size were not applicable.

While driving consumer's vehicle was rear ended, and it hit the vehicle in front. Upon impact, both air bags did not deploy. Driver sustained head injuries and facial cuts, and was transported by ambulance to the hospital. The vehicle was totaled. *ak
